Personal Consultation and Planning

Before your session, I arrange a consultation to discuss your preferences, colour schemes, and any special props or themes you’d like to include. We’ll plan the best time for your baby—ideally within the first two weeks after birth, when newborns are sleepiest and most content for classic, curled-up poses. You are welcome to involve parents and siblings for a few family portraits, ensuring everyone is part of these precious memories.

Safe, Posed or Lifestyle Sessions

My sessions focus on classic, gently posed images—your baby swaddled, sleeping, and styled with soft wraps, blankets, and subtle props. Popular poses include the “froggy,” “bump up,” and “wrapped” positions, all carefully arranged to highlight your baby’s delicate features and unique personality. Safety is always my top priority, and I am fully trained in newborn posing techniques to keep your baby secure and content throughout the session.

If you prefer a more natural approach, I also offer lifestyle newborn photography, capturing candid moments of your family bonding with your newest member. These relaxed sessions use your home’s own spaces and personal touches to create meaningful portraits that reflect your everyday life.
