To achieve the desired depth of field and ensure sharp focus on the subject, I set the aperture at f/7.1. A shutter speed of 1/200s was chosen to freeze any subtle movements, while an ISO of 200 kept image noise to an absolute minimum, preserving the clarity and detail of the portrait. The focal length of 47.0mm provided a natural perspective, and crucially, no flash was used, allowing the available light to shape the mood and softness of the image. These technical decisions were made to complement the emotional and artistic themes of the ‘getting ready’ genre.
