The choice of an f/2.8 aperture allowed for a beautifully shallow depth of field, ensuring the subject stands out crisply from the indistinct background. A shutter speed of 1/200s froze the moment perfectly, and an ISO of 100 minimised noise, leveraging the ample available light. Framing at 70mm provided a tight, intimate perspective, truly drawing the viewer into the subject’s composure. While noted as a ‘Downtown scene’ and a ‘candid moment’, the true artistry came in processing to punch up the colour and vibrancy, making the confidence truly shine through.
