This image was captured in Autumn using my Canon EOS 90D and the versatile EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens. To achieve a deep depth of field, ensuring both the subject and a degree of background context remained sharp, I selected an aperture of f/13. A shutter speed of 1/250s was sufficient to freeze any subtle movement, and ISO 200 was used to maintain image quality under the available light without needing flash. The focal length was set to 50.0 mm, providing a classic portrait perspective. These technical choices combined to create a clear, well-exposed image that highlights the subject beautifully.
