Technical Approach
This shot was achieved using my Canon Canon EOS 5D Mark IV with the versatile EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens. An aperture of f/4 was selected to create a shallow depth of field, beautifully drawing focus to Jordan and Fiona. A fast shutter speed of 1/8000s ensured sharp detail, freezing any movement, while an ISO of 1600 provided optimal exposure in ambient light without requiring flash. The focal length of 41.0 mm offered a balanced perspective, perfectly encapsulating this joyous doorway scene. This was a unique East meet West wedding at the Upper Stratton Baptist Church, where Jordan and Fiona combined Western wear for their Ceremony, and Eastern wear for their Reception.
