Setting the aperture to f/2.8 was crucial to creating a shallow depth of field, ensuring the background softened beautifully and the focus remained squarely on the brides, highlighting them against their surroundings. A shutter speed of 1/200s was sufficient to capture the moment sharply, while ISO 100 minimised noise, resulting in a clean, high-quality image. The focal length of 70mm provided a lovely perspective that compressed the background slightly, enhancing the intimacy of the portrait.
