This shot was captured in Spring using my Canon EOS 5D Mark IV with the EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens at a focal length of 53.0 mm. To ensure the focus was sharply on Jordan and Fiona, I used an aperture of f/4.5, creating a pleasing shallow depth of field. A fast shutter speed of 1/2500s was chosen to freeze any potential movement, guaranteeing crisp detail. Given the indoor lighting, I used an ISO of 1600, balancing light capture with potential noise, a necessary trade-off for maintaining a fast shutter and desired aperture. No flash was used, relying solely on the ambient light to maintain the natural atmosphere.
