This image was captured using a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV with an EF85mm f/1.4L IS USM lens, a combination favoured for its ability to beautifully isolate subjects and create stunning depth of field. Shooting at 85mm and a wide aperture of f/2 allowed the background textures to soften while keeping the subject sharply in focus, enhancing the artistic feel. A shutter speed of 1/200s was suitable for the afternoon light conditions in London, balancing ambient light with subject motion.
