This particular shot was captured in Autumn, utilising my Canon EOS 90D paired with the versatile EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens. To achieve a good depth of field while maintaining sharpness, I selected an aperture of f/7.1. A shutter speed of 1/200s was used to freeze any subtle movements, ensuring crisp detail. The ISO was set to 1000, which was appropriate for the ambient lighting conditions to minimise noise while retaining image quality. A focal length of 28.0mm provided a fairly wide field of view, allowing for context while still focusing on the subject. Notably, the flash was on and fired, skillfully used to sculpt the light and enhance the subject’s features, demonstrating expert lighting in varied conditions.
